“You don’t have to go far to go deep.” That’s something I’ve come to believe more strongly with every journey I take. And nowhere was that more evident than on my recent research trip across Michigan.

“Michigan — who knew?” I found myself saying that more than once as I traveled across the state, guided by generous, welcoming women from local tourism offices who helped open my eyes to everything Michigan has to offer.

As our unforgettable Southern Arizona tour came to a close, the final day offered one last, beautifully curated mix of scenic wonder, community engagement, and feel-good fun. From a tranquil morning cruise through canyon country to a rousing organ concert over slices of pizza, Day 5 captured everything we’d come to love about this journey: connection, discovery, and joy.
